1st Army Supply

The safest, most effective treatment for traumatic bleeding injuries.

The Department of Defense has released figures that 19 lives were confirmed saved by QuikClot in the Iraqi conflict. Also, one U.S. Marine pilot was hit with an AK 47 round through his carotid artery which exited the base of his skull. He self applied QuikClot and lived. This is the first carotid artery injury in military medical history that has survived.

The effectiveness of QuikClot has been proven in extensive testing at the University of Connecticut, the US Marine War Fighting Lab, the Marine Corps Systems Command and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

ONR conducted comparative tests with other emergency hemostatic agents, using a swine model. Only QuikClot reduced blood loss and increased survivability significantly better than the standard military bandage. In fact, only QuikClot achieved 100% survivability.
